Head Coach- Kimberly Siegman

Kimberly Siegman is in her fourth year as Head Coach for the Blue Valley Titans program for the school year of 2024-2025. Coach Siegman returned to the Blue Valley Titan Program in 2021, as assistant coach and a former alumni and graduate of Blue Valley North. While playing lacrosse for the Titans program, she was a four-year starter, a two-year captain, and a two-time US Lacrosse All-American. 

Coach Siegman (Apuzzo) went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Ohio State University for their Women's DI Lacrosse Program. While at OSU, she saw time as a midfielder and defender. She was a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete, two-time Academic All-Big Ten and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2019.

Coach Siegman has previously coached for True Lacrosse, KC Warriors Lacrosse Club and is now a coach for the Kansas City Lacrosse Club. Coach Siegman is currently working towards her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. Kimberly recently got married in the fall of 2023 to her husband Garrett.

Assistant Coach- Chip Walston

Coach Chip joined the Titan coaching staff in 2020 as an Assistant Coach. He entering his fourth season as Assistant Coach for the Blue Valley Titans Program for the school year 2023-2024. Chip and his wife moved to Kansas in July 2019 after spending the last 15 years in Westerville, Ohio.

Coach Chip grew up in a Navy family and had a long career in the Navy living all over the world – Japan, Mexico City, Beirut, Lebanon, and numerous locations around the United States including Hawaii, San Diego, Colorado, Virginia, Florida, Texas, and Monterey, California, and Ohio  He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD with a degree in engineering.  Spent his career in the Navy as a helicopter pilot flying off ships throughout the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Arabian Gulf. 

While living in Ohio, Chip coached girl’s lacrosse at all levels, from 1st/2nd grade through high school.  He started the youth girls’ program in Westerville, OH where it has grown to 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, and middle school teams where none previously existed.  Chip also served as the Westerville Lacrosse Club girls coordinator and club president, as well as the team president for his daughter’s high school lacrosse team.

His daughter and son both played lacrosse from 4th grade through high school. They both currently live in Columbus, Ohio. His daughter just became a high school lacrosse head coach in Westerville.
 

Assistant Coach- Madison "Spud" Ring

Madison Ring, or better known as SPUD, is entering her fourth year as Assistant Coach for the Blue Valley Titans Program for the school year 2024-2025. Coach Ring comes to us from St. James Academy where she helped lead them in 2021 to their first undefeated season.

Coach Ring played lacrosse at the D2 level her first year as a starting defender at Young Harris College in Northern Georgia. She won the Gulf South Conference Championship and earned the GSC FireSeeds Academic Honor Roll.

She then finished the last three years of her academic and athletic career as a starting defender at Rockhurst University, Kansas City, where she earned the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll all three years, and graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance.

Coach Ring joins the Blue Valley Titan coaching staff as a 2016 alumni and graduate of Blue Valley West High School. Coach Ring was a four year starter and captain her senior year for the Titans. She earned the KCMGLA league honors for All-Metro Defender 2015-2016 and helped lead her team to win the KCMGLA Championship her freshman year in 2013.

Coach Ring has been coaching lacrosse since high school.
She started coaching the Blue Valley youth 5th/6th grade girls and continues to coach the 5th/6th & 7/th/8th grade girls with KC Elevate Lacrosse. Not only does Coach Ring spend her time coachng she is also employed with UnitedHealth Group.


Assistant Coach and Social Media Manager- Danielle Hohler

Danielle Hohler is entering her 3rd year as an Assistant Coach and Social Media Manager for the Blue Valley Titans Program for the school year 2024-2025.

She is a former Titans alumni and graduate of Blue Valley West. Coach Hohler started playing lacrosse in 8th grade through the Blue Valley Youth Program. She then played with the Titans for all 4 years in high school, as well as a club travel team for 2 years. During High School, Coach Hohler was also a youth lacrosse field manager as well as a 5th/6th grade lacrosse coach for the Blue Valley Youth Program.

After high school, Coach Hohler continued her studies and attended Wichita State University. In 2020, she then decided to move back to her hometown. Coach Hohler has recently been married and now resides in the Old Overland Park area with her husband Alex.

Now being back in KC, Coach Hohler has enjoyed returning to the Blue Valley Titans! While you can catch her assisting at practices and games, you’re likely to find her taking content of the team for social media as she manages our social platforms.  She loves to bring the team spirit and enthusiasm and encourages the girls to always have fun!

Besides spending her time as an assistant, she works at a local boutique, enjoys kayaking, traveling, wildlife photography, F45, and hanging out with her cats.
